commenting

In browsing the forum, I've come across a lot of ill will between people over commenting. Perhaps, there could be a feature added to disable commenting on either a global or per-photo basis, but still allow a basic number rating. At least then it takes the window of opportunity away from those who may abuse it.

I see that there's an option for blocking specific users from commenting.. i'm talking about blocking ALL users from commenting. Still allow ratings, just no chat.

That feature is already in the system and has been for weeks.

You can block any user from commenting on your photos by visiting that users page and just clicking the "block" user text.

As far as blocking all commenting, the issues that you mentioned are mostly in very old situations, so we have have not seen any need in blocking commenting on an across the board fashion.

We will keep it in mind for future releases though.
